Spring is such a glorious season...
Everything begins anew and is given a fresh start. People dispose of excess baggage (mental or physical) through spring cleaning. We are reminded of life and God's creations everywhere around us. I adore this season.
I had an incredible time at the Making Things Happen intensive. The women there had such honest and beautiful souls. It is hard to put into words how I feel after finishing this course. It definitely opened my eyes to new possibilities and made me feel empowered. I am still trying to process everything that I learned from the experience. I will tell you more about it once I have had time to put their powerful advice to practice.
On a completely different note - Congratulations to my wonderful parents on celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary yesterday! They have been together for almost 39 years (they began dating their sophomore year in high school). Thank you for being such a fantastic example to us kids. I knew to look for a partner that would love me unconditionally, show me respect, and make me laugh. You two sure are excellent at being silly together. I love you both so much!
Beautiful photos, beautiful sentiment - your mother and I are very blessed to have you as a daughter! Being silly is what keeps us sane (I think) - and btw, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! ;-)
