My Daddy is so dear to me! He has been such a fun father and he always admits to being a big kid himself. I could not have asked for a more involved, loving, and encouraging father figure. For that, I feel truly blessed.
Let me tell you a little bit about him...
He loves the outdoors. I think he is happiest surrounded by nature. He is an Eagle Scout, avid biker, and enthusiastic kayaker. He used to be an honorary Girl Scout because he would come on all of my camping trips as a kid. We have gone on countless hikes and bike rides over the years.
My Dad is a superb photographer. I didn't realize my passion for photography until recently, but I have no doubt that it stemmed from his love of the hobby. I feel very fortunate that much of our childhood was documented through photos.
Daddy also has a big heart, especially when it comes to animals. When he returns home from work, he always takes the time to get on the floor and play with our family dog, Nessie. I often find him loving on our Yui as well! :) There is something so moving about seeing a grown man adoring an animal. It touches my heart!
