About EclaireArt: 

I began this blog as a way to showcase my artwork and serve as an online portfolio. After discovering my passions for photography and photo styling, EclaireArt has become an artistic outlet and an excuse for me to photograph. All the photos on this blog are taken by me aside from our engagement/wedding pictures.

What is Photo Styling? 

I start with a vision and strive to communicate a desired impression. This is achieved through color, composition, and design. Selection and set-up of backgrounds, props, accessories, food, flowers, furniture, etc. all help my ideas come to fruition. I relish the entire process of photo styling from the initial idea to the completed photograph. Simple, clean aesthetics and attention to the smallest details are imperative to my work. Photo stylists often work closely with photographers. I have been advised against doing both, but I have chosen to follow my heart. My aim is to be a one stop shop and provide prop selection, styling, editing, and photography.

I am eternally grateful to my Mum who is a very willing assistant. Her personal aesthetic resonates with EclaireArt. We have WAY too much fun searching for props and creating!

I am blessed with a wonderful husband, family, and fantastic dog! Family is the most important thing in the world to me. I take pride in the fact that we have mastered both the art of silliness and taking pleasure in each others' company. These people (and canines) never cease to make me smile. 

You see that cutie in the sidebar (the non-furry one)? I somehow snagged the most compassionate, handsome, and amazing husband on the planet.  
He is the love of my life.
